The Bantam Ultra-Light is the lightest steel-strung banjo I have built to date. Great for anyone that likes a small, light-weight comfort banjo. Head is permanently fixed and does not have adjustment hardware that pokes the player in the ribs or legs. Here are the specifics:
- Walnut neck and stick
- 22.25″ scale length
- Indian laurel fingerboard with 15 Evo Gold frets and 16-inch rdius
- 10 inch multi-ply maple rim with purple sparkle finish
- Permanently fixed Fiberskyn head
- Inline guitar-style tuners
- Weighs 2 pounds and 2.5 ounces
- Strings through the rim at the tail. Currently has LaBella Country and Western, light ball-end steel strings
